InterCon
Construction, Inc. Awarded Multi-year Blanket
Contract with WE Energies
March 13, 2007 – InterCon Construction,
Inc., an underground utility contractor based
in Madison, Wisconsin, has been awarded a
new multi-year gas and electric distribution
contract by WE Energies. This new contract
will expand InterCon’s current WE Energies
territory of Northwestern and Southwestern
Wisconsin to include the Fox Valley and Waukesha
metro areas. This accounts for the largest
total territory area ever awarded to a single
contractor by We Energies. This newly awarded
area combined with InterCon’s current
Alliant Energy contract gives InterCon an
extremely strong presence in Wisconsin, Iowa
and the Midwest.
